Distinction from other paths
Automatic and immediate awakening of the Kundalini from initiation
Awakening one’s Serpent Power (Kundalini Shakti) is essential to achieve one’s end goal in all spiritual and meditative paths. The Serpent Power is all-pervading and eternal but remains dormant (asleep) having coiled up in three and a half turns in one’s Mooladhara chakara (the base of the spinal column). In this state, an aspirant remains in ignorance. However, once one’s Kundalini awakens, the body, mind and Prana (Life Force) become active. The Kundalini is known by various names in different cultures.
After awakening the Kundalini, aspirants can plug into their divine energy source – which gives an aspirant innumerable and incredible powers (siddhis). Only upon awakening the Kundalini can one ultimately attain Supreme Consciousness.
By the grace of spiritual Jagatguru Mahayogi Siddhababa one’s dormant Serpent Power becomes active through Shaktipaat Deeksha – an initiation where spiritual power/ conscious energy is transmitted from Siddha Guru to an aspirant. Once the initiation is done by the grace of Siddha Guru, you just sit for meditation and do nothing but observe the acts of awakened energy.
The Easy Path
Awakening the Kundalini takes tremendous and arduous effort when following other spiritual or meditative paths. What’s more, if one does not practice techniques with the upmost precision and is not guided by an expert spiritual Guru, awakening the Kundalini can be dangerous and harmful for aspirants. However, in the path of Pashupat Siddha Mahayog awakening the Kundalini is safe and effortless. It automatically happens from initiation. Once Mahayogi Siddha Baba activates one’s Kundalini the energy flow that results within one’s body is gradual and Siddha Baba consistently provides spiritual guidance. One’s experiences are personalized and only experiences the individual benefits from manifests. Unlike other yoga forms no manual effort is required from the meditator. This path gives instant and direct results, as stated in the Vedas.
Automatic manifestation of the four Yoga branches
Pashupat Siddha Mahayog is an integrated form of (1) Hath (2) Mantra (3) Laya and (4) Raj yoga. All yoga practices currently found throughout the world can be categorized into these four yoga branches and so find their roots in the Mahayog tradition. Hence, Mahayog it is often referred to as the “mother” of all yoga.
Your own Serpent power (Kundalini Shakti) decides what type of experiences to manifest. This results in an aspirant experiencing automatic acts of all the four Yogas, namely Hatha yoga, Raja yoga, Mantra yoga and Laya yoga. A few examples of experiences can include involuntary physical actions (i.e., pranayama, formation of mudras, utterance of mantras, singing), feelings of energy moving within the body and visualizations of different kind (i.e., different coloured lights). The manifestation of these four Yoga branches is for the physical, mental and spiritual purification.
Each individual gets different personalized experiences according to the needs of his/her body, mind and the accumulated impression of past deeds (sanskara)– which one’s own Kundalini is fully conscious of.
