Meditation
Pashupat Siddha Mahayog Meditation is one of the most powerful and easiest meditation methods but is not well known, especially in the West, because it requires a Siddha Guru to initiate meditators, and because this yogic knowledge was kept secret for over four hundred years, known only to sages in the caves of the Himalayas. However, it is now accessible to the public through Nepal’s Himalayan yogi, Jagatguru Mahayogi Siddhababa.
Once initiation (awakening of your Kundalini energy) is done by the grace of Mahayogi Siddhababa, you just sit for meditation and do nothing but observe the acts of awakened energy. Your divine energy will guide you through the journey of your physical, mental, emotional and spiritual purification.
During meditation, energy runs through seven chakras (subtle energy centers) that are stationed in the human body, aligning straight up (from the Muladhar or root chakra) one after another in the spinal cord. When Kundalini energy flows through the chakras, the manifestation of self-driven power activates a comprehensive system for wellbeing on all levels. It works to prevent diseases, maintains health, and raises quality of life.
With this meditation, an aspirant can achieve his/her final goal without any effort. Hence, this spiritual system was given the name Pashupat Siddha Mahayog.
Pashupat: transforming unconscious knowledge to a conscious state
Siddha: the self-functioning of one’s kundalini energy allowing individuals to experience various sensations including involuntary movements
Mahayog: an integrated form of all four yoga types — Hatha yoga, Mantra yoga, Laya yoga and Raj yoga.
Practitioners of this path start experiencing various involuntarily experiences of the body and mind due to the awakening of their Kundalini, activated by the will power of Jagatguru Mahayogi Siddhababa. The experiences of meditators are very unique and often differ from one another as there is difference in people’s bodily, mental and spiritual needs.
